Srinagar, Oct 4: Security forces arrested an Army personnel at the drop gate of Srinagar International Airport after contraband substances were allegedly recovered from his baggage, officials said.
Police and CRPF personnel apprehended the Army personnel on Saturday and recovered 213 grams of poppy straw and 69 grams of a cannabis-like substance from his possession, officials said.
A case under relevant sections of law has been registered, and an investigation has been initiated, they added. (PTI)
