Srinagar, Oct 21: The University of Kashmir has rescheduled the commencement of the Jammu and Kashmir State Eligibility Test (JKSET)/Ladakh State Eligibility Test (LASET) 2026, shifting the examination timing from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm on October 25.
According to a notice issued by the JKSET Agency, University of Kashmir, the examination will now begin at 1:30 pm across Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. Candidates have been directed to report to their respective examination centres by 12 noon.
The notice also states that the interval between the two papers has been reduced from 20 minutes to 15 minutes, while all other examination instructions will remain unchanged.
The revised schedule was announced through a notice dated October 21, 2026, signed by Professor Aijaz Ahmad, Member Secretary, JKSET/LASET.
Candidates appearing in the examination have been advised to take note of the revised timings and make the necessary arrangements accordingly. (KNT)
